Tokyo, Japan / Salerno, Italy – May 14th, 2025 – ASTRO GATE Inc., a Japan-based spaceport operator dedicated to advancing global space transportation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sidereus Space Dynamics S.r.l., an Italian aerospace company developing EOS, the world’s first mobile, containerized, single-stage-to-orbit (SSTO) launch system.
This agreement marks part of ASTRO GATE’s broader strategy to establish collaborative frameworks with emerging launch vehicle developers worldwide. Through this MoU, ASTRO GATE and Sidereus will jointly assess the potential acquisition and deployment of the EOS platform in Japan and allied regions. The scope includes the evaluation of direct vehicle procurement, joint launch missions, and tactical demonstrations in third countries.
By partnering with multiple innovative rocket companies, ASTRO GATE aims to diversify launch capabilities across its spaceport network and enable sovereign, distributed access to orbit.
