ASTRO GATE Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, Japan) and Snowdon Consulting Limited (Head Office: Auckland New Zealand) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a framework for collaboration aimed at exploring opportunities related to rocket procurement.
Under this MoU, both parties will engage in discussions and feasibility studies regarding the potential purchase and deployment of launch vehicles. By leveraging their respective expertise and networks, ASTRO GATE and Snowdon Consulting Limited seek to assess technical, operational, and commercial aspects that would support the development of new space transportation capabilities.
Moving forward, the two companies intend to focus on the following areas:
- Technical and commercial evaluation of rocket products and services
- Coordination of procurement planning and operational requirements
- Identification of opportunities for collaboration with launch sites and spaceports
- Joint exploration of potential markets and mission profiles

This MoU represents a basic agreement toward further discussions and does not constitute a legally binding contract. Both companies will continue their joint efforts with the aim of establishing a more formal partnership based on the outcomes of their evaluations.
