ASTRO GATE Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo) is pleased to announce that our spaceport initiatives in Fukushima have been featured on the YouTube channel of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework (hereinafter “FIPO”).
ASTRO GATE was selected for the acceleration program of “Fukushima Tech Create,” organized by the FIPO. Through our spaceport development efforts in Fukushima, we aim to contribute to the growth of the global space industry and promote regional revitalization by fostering a space industry cluster in Fukushima.
As a result of these efforts, we successfully operated three rocket launches as a spaceport operator in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture, during fiscal year 2024.
The featured video summarizes these achievements through an interview with Yumena Yanai, an actress from Fukushima.
