ASTRO GATE Inc. has planned and produced virtual reality (VR) experience content for the outer event area at Rakuten Mobile Saikyo Park Miyagi during all six games (August 18–23, 2026) of the midsummer event “Natsu-Suta! STARLIGHT GALAXY” hosted by the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles.
This initiative provides interactive, technology-driven entertainment for fans visiting the stadium. Utilizing ASTRO GATE’s space technology expertise and space industry network, the company collaborated with several space startups based in the Tohoku region to co-create an interactive space that captures the world of the event’s theme, “STARLIGHT GALAXY.”
■ Experience Content: VR “Space Donuts ~Launch a Rocket from Tohoku!~”
Putting on the VR headset reveals a miniature spaceport. It is an immersive attraction where visitors explore the spaceport, prepare refueling, mission control, and boarding, and finally launch the crewed rocket “Eagle One” into space together.
The attraction is located inside the “AR Tent” in the 3rd-base outer area.

- Event Dates:August 18 (Tue) – August 23 (Sun), 2026
- Operating Hours:From 3 hours before game start until 30 minutes after game start.
- Note: Game start time is 18:00 from Aug 18 to Aug 22, and 16:00 on Aug 23.
- Registration may close earlier than scheduled depending on queue conditions.
- Location:Rakuten Mobile Saikyo Park Miyagi, 3rd Base Outer Area inside the “AR Tent”
- Eligibility:Visitors holding a ticket for that day’s game
- Participation Fee:500 yen per person (tax included)
- On-site payment required (Fully cashless / Cash not accepted). Separate from game ticket fee.
- Experience Duration:Approximately 10 to 15 minutes (Up to 20 minutes max)
- Participation Guidelines:
- Required: Ages 7 and older
- Recommended: Height 110 cm or taller
- Children aged 7 or older who are under 110 cm tall must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
