We are pleased to announce that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding ASTRO GATE’s spaceport initiative in Kenya has been featured on the official website of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
This MoU, signed on May 2, 2025, by ASTRO GATE Inc. (Tokyo, Japan), AfriOrbit Ltd. (Nairobi, Kenya), and Hayes Group International (Washington, D.C., USA), aims to jointly promote the development of a commercial spaceport in Kenya.
The publication was made in the context of the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9), highlighting Japanese companies contributing to business development in Africa.
